Spanish, like getting drunk without losing your mind and peeing on stuff, is one of those things students should really try to actually learn while in school, but they rarely ever do.
One Kansas high school teacher tried to spice up his class by entering the classroom each day and yelling, “Buenos dias!” which, in Spanish, means, “Look, I’m sort of fun!”
A couple students decided to make a montage of this epic* entrance to commemorate the time the class spent not actually getting that good at Spanish by graduation.(*not epic)
The most endearing/tragic thing about this video is you can tell each time he says, “Buenos dias!” he’s trying to get the class to chant it with him.
But literally nobody wants to do that at all. Not even a little. It’s heartbreaking.
It’s like that moment in every live performance where the performer is like,
THESE PEOPLE ARE F*CKING LOVING THIS! I’M HOT AS SH*T RIGHT NOW! I BET I CAN JUST POINT THIS MIC AT THIS DOPE CROWD, AND THEY WILL SING THIS LINE FOR ME, AND IT’LL BE F*CKING PIMP AS HELL!
But, it never is pimp as hell. No. Not even a little bit pimp as hell.
In this way, Seor Ward has something in common with Smash Mouth (not sure what it says about me that Smash Mouth is literally the first thing I thought of when I thought of “popular music,” but I’m certain it’s not a good sign).
Also, Seor Wade, you need new shirts. Your rotation is very brief.
